This is a presentation presented in SIAL Chian 2021.
We introduced a few modern supply chain integration examples in Brazil and in the Netherlands, answering the demand change from consumers in this urbanizing society. A rough calculation relates to potential dairy demand in China is included.
Example cases show potential design and improve methods of agri-food supply chains that enable a circular economy and enhancing local food security. Food security is an important element in Chinese National Strategies.
